"Hoof Beats"
Hoof Beats was established in September of 2000. We currently have 23 members, most of which have their own horse or access to one. Our members enjoy many different facets of the horse world. Some ride English, some Western, some enjoy showing, gaming, trail riding, training, but all enjoy their friendships with other 4-Her's and that magical bond they have with horses. We meet the second Friday of every month for a business meeting at the Camden County Library - South Branch in Winslow Township. Currently, we are not accepting any new members in order that we can stay small enough for our frequent get-togethers at various members homes for fun days on horses, trail rides, holiday parties and pool parties.
"A Horse of Course"
A Horse of Course was created in September 2006. Our club is unique in that members get to experience several different project areas in addition to horses. On the farm there are horses (of course) chickens, goats, cows, and gardening. You do not need to own a horse (or any other animal) to join the club; make new friends and have fun learning about horses and farm life with kids just like YOU!
We have several "project" days each week where members spend time on the farm learning about their "Project area".
Business meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7pm, at the
Camden County Extension Building in Clementon

Yearlings meet on the third Tuesday of each month at the Exention Building in Clementon on Ohio Avenue. Our members have rabbits, rats, chickens, ducks, sheep and goats. We participate at the County Fair, and also go to 4-H shows in other counties. We currently are collecting old cell phones that will be outfitted for senior citizens to be used for 911 calls. In April we will be building cages for members and seeding flower boxes at the Fair Grounds.

"Together We Sew"
Together We Sew is finishing its 3rd year. We currently have 18 members! We have been working hard and sewing up a storm. Some of the projects our members made placemats, tote bags, pillows, appliquéd sweatshirts, skirts, tops, dresses, and kites! This April, as part of National Kite Month, we will be holding a Kite Fly at Lakeland! Our older members learned to insert zippers and buttonholes! Our community service project this year was to donate gifts to the Camden County Women’s Shelter.
Meeting are the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month at 7 pm.

"4-H Prep Club"
This is the first year of the 4-H Prep Club. This club is for kids grades K-3. The club does not specialize in any one area. They do different projects each month. One month was cooking, another was gardening (with the help of the Master Gardeners!...thank you!!). This is a perfect opportunity for young children to dip their feet into different project areas that 4-H offers, while having fun! This club is accepting new members, and looking for volunteers (adult and teen) to help run the meetings. For more information call the Extension Office at (856) 566-2900

"My Eyes 4 You"
My Eyes 4 You - Camden County Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Club was founded in 1995. Chris Smolka is the club leader. 4-H families raise German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, Golden/Lab Retriever Cross puppies, which are specially bred by The Seeing Eye, Inc. in Morristown, New Jersey from the age of 8 weeks to 15 - 18 months old to become guide dogs for the blind. Puppies are socialized to make the adjustment to dog guide team easier after returning to The Seeing Eye for formal traffic training, and a match with a blind person who will be able to lead a more independent lifestyle.
"Sturbridge Explorers 4-H Prep Club"
The Sturbridge Explorers 4-H Prep Club, based in Voorhees, is enthusiastic about exploring all aspects of 4-H and is particularly interested in science. The club has enjoyed activities such as chromatography, gardening, team games and a scavenger hunt. Formed in early 2008, the club is looking forward to conducting a community service activity and attending the Camden County 4-H Fair.
